Loved it!

JessieYun responds:

Hi MaxiColdheart,
Thank you!

Loved it! The sounds you picked are great! Very good vsts. Mind sharing what you've used?

Decrodoggo responds:

Thanks dude. The software I used Ableton live pretty pricy but it’s worth it. The software is very customizable and easy to use.

Nice work!

NativeNiles responds:

Thank you!

Very cinematic indeed. Loved your percussive action hits!
Could you tell which vst you've used for them?

DarkMasterOfficial responds:

In fact I did not dig deep into DAW and producing trivia, I've just installed NI Kontakt 5 and libraries for it. As drums I usually use Action Strikes library like in this particular case.
P.S. Oh! Just forgot about another libraries, especially with epic hits, named "Evolution Atlantica" and "Evolution Dragon". Hits from there were used in this song from 1:28 to 1:54

Nice work! Do you mind telling which vst you used? And maybe how did you think about composing this piece?
Best regards!

Zechnition responds:

Thanks! The vst i used was "labs soft piano," it's free if you want to look it up.

My goal while making this was to make melodies that sort of fit a starry sky feeling, or that were sort of bright then sleepy. This piece is pretty messy and unstructured because I made the melody almost completely from my intuition. I also had a little bit of inspiration from Celeste's soundtrack towards the end.

Nicely done! If i may, i would just add some motifs for the piano, it seems to me, that you could use it more.
Have you been enjoying Reason 10 so far? How do you think it's samples compare to some kontakt libraries?
Best regards!

Bradley-Pittman responds:

Hey, I appreciate it!

This track was made completely with the Miroslav Philharmonik 2 VST, using Reason as a sequencer. I've been a longtime Reason user so I'm a bit biased, but I absolutely adore Reason 10. It has great synths (Europa, Grain, Thor, and Kong especially) with huge prestock libraries, and I prefer Reason's workflow to every other DAW. I've used stock samples on just about every track I've made, I just find MP2 a bit better for realistic orchestral strings.

There are some crackling sounds in your audio, did you noticed that? Is it intentional? If it's a problem which you didn't know how to solve, contact me, it would be my pleasure to help.

And, if you don't mind me asking, are you brazilian or just like the culture?

I'm br, so if you want to talk, just pm me!

Keep creating.

gkozak responds:

Thank you so much! I love music from all over the world. I have a lot from Brazil and Africa, and from over 100 countries in all! The cracking is from me overloading the sound card when I recorded, I guess. Would love any help to get rid of it!

I just submitted another one with a "Brazilian" sound- Mug the Slug.

Hey! I love art, and this is what defines me.
Among all arts, i'm especially fond of music!
